Lori Harvey took to Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 15, to debut her fiery new look.
This change comes days after the 24-year-old participated in the 70th-annual Miss Universe pageant as a judge. Her stepfather Steve Harvey hosted the ceremony, which took place in Eilat, Israel.
In the Instagram reel, which featured Felixthe1st and Draya Mac’s “Own Brand Freestyle” track, Harvey ditched her naturally dark tresses for a bold red and decided to flaunt it in a multi-clip video. In the recording, Harvey is seen doing a number of poses as she wears an all-red ensemble that complements the new hairdo.
Alongside the reel, the model claimed in her caption that she hasn’t picked out a name for her new hairstyle despite how “cute” she thinks it is. Harvey wrote, “I haven’t decided on a name for her yet, but she was cute.”
As Harvey’s new look went viral, many marveled over her change in appearance.
“It’s giving the black Jessica rabbit.”
“YES! She always brings the heat and does it with so much CLASS.”
“That color is (fire emoji) on you.”
“F–k it up then! I love this red!”
In addition to the praise, a couple of people mentioned Harvey’s boyfriend, Michael B. Jordan. While using Jordan’s nickname Nugget, One stated, “Nugget gone fall out when he sees this look.” Another said, “@michaelbjordan Man you are LUCKY!!!”
Harvey and Jordan confirmed they were an item earlier this year by uploading affectionate photos on social media. The news came after rumors began circulating that the actor and model were a couple after they were spotted spending the 2020 Thanksgiving holiday together.
Since then, Harvey and Jordan have reached a milestone in their union. The couple recently celebrated their first-year dating anniversary. The pair took to their respective Instagram accounts on Nov. 16, and shared never-before-seen snapshots.
Harvey wrote in her caption,”Happy Anniversary my love,” while Jordan expressed how quickly time has flown. He said, “Happy anniversary. It’s been a year crazy!!”
