“Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality diva Kenya Moore must have stepped into a time machine, because she is turning back the hands of time on her looks.
The 49-year-old celebrated her birthday Friday, Jan. 24, with a photoshoot of her holding 1-year-old daughter Brooklyn Daly by estranged husband, Marc Daly.
“Happy Birthday to Me! Whew, this has been quite a year! Despite the turmoil, there has been a constant positive force of love and light in my life. God brought this Angel into my world who is the miracle known as Brooklyn, and every day is my birthday,” Moore wrote.
“I live my whole life for you. You are everything that is good in me, and you inspire me to be better every day. You are my legacy. My only birthday wish is, may God continue to cover you and bless you forever and always. I pray for these things, Jehovah, in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen. ❤️👶🏽 #miraclebaby #babybrooklyn #unconditionallove,” she added.
“How did she get here? Why did she choose me? She knew I needed her far more than she needed me. You are my life Brooklyn, my happiness, my joy, and the unconditional love I waited my whole life for. You have my grandmother’s spirit. She left me so I could have you,” Moore continued.
Fans and “RHOA” cast members wished the mother of one a happy birthday and complimented her twining photo shoot with baby Brooklyn.
“Happy Birthday!!!!! 🎂🎂🎂,” fellow “RHOA” cast member Kandi Burruss wrote.
“Omg, this is the most beautiful picture! You and your angel just radiate happiness and love. I am so happy for you @thekenyamoore ❤️,” former “RHOA” cast member Claudia Jordan wrote.
“I love the pic, but the caption is EVERYTHING 😍 HBD,” “RHOA” guest cast mate Shamea Morton wrote.
“Happy Birthday, Queen! Many blessings for many more!!!🙏🏾😊.”
“Happy Birthday and Many More! May God continue to Bless you and Your Beautiful Daughter!🙏😊❤️.”
“Happy Birthday Queen 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 @thekenyamoore.”
Despite allegations of Moore trying to sabotage her friend/ fellow housewife Cynthia Bailey’s proposal to fiancé Mike Hill, the two supposedly have moved past the issue because Bailey wished the former Miss USA a “Happy Birthday” in her comment section.
“Happy Birthday, Twirl🎉,” Bailey wrote.
Before her comment, Bailey also addressed the incident on Andy Cohen’s Sunday, Jan. 5, episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
“Well, I will say this. I mean, at the end of the day, Kenya is my friend. I really don’t think that she really wanted to ruin my proposal,” she said. “ It was pretty s–tty for her to tell me that I was going to be proposed to, but you know what, she made a mistake.”
Many felt that Moore told Bailey she was about to get proposed to out of jealousy due to her marital woes; however, Bailey disagrees.
“I think her situation is completely separate from mine,” Bailey also said on “WWHL.”
“I mean, she wants her relationship to work. I want her relationship to work. At the end of the day, I still stand by the fact that I believe that Kenya is my friend, even though she was a bad friend at the proposal. She is my friend.”
Throughout the “RHOA” season, Moore has been candid about her struggles of trying to make her marriage work with Daly.
The coupled struggled with intimacy issues, according to Moore, and in September 2019, Moore and Daly announced that they were divorcing only after two years of marriage.
“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband, Marc Daly,” Moore wrote. “Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby.”
Daly admitted to having “come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time.”
However, in October 2019, Moore told People magazine that she was hopeful that she could work through her problems with Daly.
“I didn’t get married to quit. I love my husband. I don’t doubt that he loves me,” she said during the interview. “Let me be clear; I took my vows seriously. I believe in for better and for worse, and I believe in trying it all before you walk away, especially when we do have a child, and we are a family.”
In November, Daly and Moore celebrated their daughter’s first birthday, and in a New Year’s Eve post Moore expressed high hopes for 2020, including opening her heart to “forgiveness, understanding, and compassion.”
While no one knows what the future holds for Moore and Daly, the reality diva can at least enjoy her birthday weekend and continue to twirl.
