‘Hard to Watch’: Kenya Moore Breaks Down While Discussing Her ‘Nasty’ Marital Woes With Estranged Husband

It seems Kenya Moore and now estranged husband Marc Daly have been having issues for a while.

On the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Moore opened up about her and Daly’s marital woes to fellow cast mate Kandi Burruss. She claimed she and the SoCo restaurant owner began having intimacy issues during the time of her pregnancy with now-1-year-old daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly.

“Maybe when I was about 6 months, 7 months, he just started getting really freaked out about my belly growing,” the 48-year-old mother told Burruss. “He thought it was kind of awkward.”

The estranged couple’s sex life continued at a standstill even after she gave birth to their daughter in November 2018. The pair’s marital issues came to a head when they disagreed about parenting methods. For their wedding anniversary, Moore wanted to celebrate in Turks and Caicos and bring a nanny along to watch their daughter so they could have alone time together. Daly disagreed, which led to an explosive argument between them, and he decided to skip the trip.

“That was heartbreaking to me,” Moore said. “He is in love with Brooklyn, there’s no doubt about that. As much as I want that, being a mom and seeing my husband bond with the baby, I’m left on the sideline a lot of the time. When are we going to be intimate? When are we going to have time for ourselves?”

The estranged couple also spent quite a great deal apart, seeing as Daly tended to his New York restaurant majority of the time, while Moore was in Atlanta raising their daughter. She even suggested their relationship turned “toxic.”

“When he’s upset, it’s like he’s no holds barred,” an emotional Moore added. “He can be funny and smart and helpful and supportive, but then when he gets mad, it’s like an alter-ego comes in from the depths of hell.”

No longer fighting back her tears, the “RHOA” actress told Burruss she was afraid their arguments would affect their child.

“We love each other but this thing just gets nasty sometimes, and I don’t want that,” she said. “I don’t want it for Brooklyn. I waited my whole life for her, and I was that little girl who was never protected and I will protect her.”

RHOA” viewers had mixed reactions to Moore’s confession.

“Marc does not like Kenya 😧 . It shows and it’s hard to watch! She’s a drama queen and wants all the attention on herself.”

“Sadly I knew this wasn’t going to last. Seem like he just wanted to have another kid and she was just too head over heels and wanted a husband so bad to notice. I feel bad for her”

“I hate that for Kenya, she deserves all the Happiness God has in store for her 🙏 Marc gives me abuser vibes.”

Moore and Daly announced they were splitting up in September but she later told People magazine that they have yet to actually file for a divorce.

“I didn’t get married to quit,” Moore told the publication of her desire to work things out with her husband. “I love my husband. I don’t doubt that he loves me… I believe in for better and for worse and I believe in trying it all before you walk away, especially when we do have a child and we are a family.”
