It was a happy occasion over the weekend when Tamar Braxton’s son Logan celebrated being promoted from kindergarten to first grade, but you wouldn’t know it by the looks of the singer’s estranged husband’s face.
Braxton proudly shared a few moments from the day the 5-year-old she shares with Vince Herbert graduated to the next grade on Instagram Saturday, which included the youngsters reciting a pledge.
“That kindergarten class is saved!!! He’s going to the FIRST grade already!! Congratulations To my BEANS💕” Braxton happily captioned the post from May 18.
However, fans’ attention was quickly turned away from Logan’s big moment and onto his father. This was thanks to a photo with Braxton’s nephew Diezel, mom Evelyn Braxton, sister Toni Braxton and Logan and Herbert accompanying the star’s caption.
While the entire Braxton clan and Logan are all smiles, Herbert is seen scowling at the camera.

Tamar and Herbert have been in the middle of a long divorce process that began when the former filed to end their marriage in October 2017. The latest development came in April when Braxton filed to request a “status only” divorce to make herself legally single while details of the divorce, like custody, are sorted out.
“Petitioner seeks a dissolution of her marriage with Respondent based on irreconcilable differences,” the documents obtained by The Blast read. “Petitioner believes there is nothing the Court can do to salvage or repair the marriage.”
Meanwhile, Tamar and Herbert have moved on from one another. Tamar has been dating financial firm CEO David Adefeso for nearly a year. As for her music executive spouse, he is seeing someone whom their son refers to as his “wife,” as Tamar told her sisters on an episode of “Braxton Family Values.” Details about Herbert’s romance are not known, but Tamar has happily shared date nights and other details about her relationship with Adefeso.
