‘He Got a Wife’: Tamar Braxton Says, Like Her, Estranged Husband Vince Herbert Has Moved on From Their Marriage

Tamar Braxton isn’t the only one who is in a full-on relationship with a pending divorce.

The singer revealed on Thursday’s edition of “Braxton Family Values” that her estranged husband Vince Herbert has a new woman in his life.

Braxton shared the news with her sisters Trina and Towanda Braxton on the April 11 episode after she detailed an awkward and unexpected run-in with her soon-to-be-ex-husband.

“Has he moved on?” Trina asks of Herbert.

“I believe he has,” Tamar says. “Logan says he got a wife.”

The identity of Herbert’s new woman is not known, but recently Tamar finally came clean about the identity of her man of about 10 months after keeping him hidden for so long.

The singer has been seeing financial services firm CEO David Adefeso since last summer, but only in early April did they go public on the red carpet for the first time. Adefeso’s face was fully seen by fans on the newest “Braxton Family Values” episode too.

“At first, I ain’t want everybody all in our business,” Tamar explained in a confessional scene about why she didn’t show off her guy initially. “Googling him and looking him up and putting him up on the internet before I got a chance to introduce him the way that I wanted to. So I just called him Lagos [where he’s from in Nigeria] just as a little nickname.”

But while Tamar is enjoying time with her guy and has previously said she’d be open to marrying him if she were asked, she’ll have to contend with getting her divorce from Herbert finalized first.

In August 2018, a judge warned Tamar to get a move on in the proceedings or else they’ll be married for longer. As for why the split has taken so long to go through the process, Tamar blamed it on paperwork.

“It’s the paperwork, Linda!” she said on “The Wendy Williams Show” in March. “And it’s L.A. And when you have a lot of things together and L.A., just period, takes forever. We haven’t been living together for two years now.”
