Reginae Carter is apparently back to making veiled messages about her recent drama with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, rapper YFN Lucci.
Just last week Lucci, 28, aired out his and Carter’s, 20, dirty laundry all over social media, claiming she apparently said she didn’t feel safe around him. He then urged her to leave him since her life was “wayyyy more important than” their relationship.
Since her and Lucci’s public quarrel, Carter, the eldest daughter of rapper Lil Wayne, has been writing suggestive messages, apparently hinting at her and the “Every Day We Lit” rapper’s supposed breakup. On Friday, the television personality took to Instagram and suggested that she wasn’t falling for any more of Lucci’s “bulls–t.”
“I checked my receipt & I didn’t buy any of your bullsh*t 😏,” she wrote, along with a photo of herself giving a smug look.
Fans immediately assumed the 20-year-old was alluding to Lucci and urged her to leave him for good.
“Okayy👏🏽👏🏽 Nae I know that’s right! Leave him for good and never return you deserve better.”
“Aww!! S–t!! This Nola Gurl is backkkkk 🔥😍 you deserve the best boo Lucci ain’t s–t!”
“That’s right Nae 🤩don’t believe his hype girl he a fool Period Pooh.”
Since their Twitter feud last week, Lucci has apologized to Carter for urging him to leave her, writing, “Can someone tell my girl I’m sorry and I’m looking for her,” he wrote.
Carter tweeted in response to Lucci’s initial outburst, “Today I have no clap backs,” Carter tweeted in response that day. “You’re simply getting blocked. #imtired.”
Their relationship drama has even prompted the actress’ mother Toya Wright to intervene, jumping to her daughter’s defense against Lucci’s request to get her back.
Last year Wright warned her daughter about dating the 28-year-old rap artist, urging Carter to just focus on herself.
“I don’t like the age difference,” Wright told her daughter during season 1 of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. “I don’t like the fact that he have four kids because I mean, you trying to be stepmom, honey?”
She added, “You know how I feel about that whole rapper thing. … I dated your dad when I was younger than that and there’s a whole lot that comes with that lifestyle. And that’s the last thing I want or any mother want.”
