Reginae Carter and YFN Lucci seem to be on the outs again after their latest social media spat. The couple announced their relationship in 2018, and they’ve been on and off ever since.
Then on Thursday, after he referred to Carter as “This Girl,” the rapper said she doesn’t feel safe, which is something she apparently communicated to him. Lucci then took that concern to social media, which began their latest back-and-forth.
“The girl said I don’t make her feel safe. U should leave me then because your life is wayyyy more important than this relationship,” he wrote along with 4 laughing emojis.
Carter, who’s Lil Wayne‘s eldest daughter, seemingly clapped back on the same day and implied that she was getting rid of Lucci for good.
“Eliminate what doesn’t help you evolve,” she wrote.
Later, Carter indicated that she was done with the exchange altogether and was fresh out of witty responses. “Today I have no clap backs,” she tweeted. “You’re simply getting blocked. #imtired.”
Last month, after Carter posted a photo of herself and Lucci on a Miami vacation and said she doesn’t have to explain their love, her fans seemed extremely annoyed. And they echoed those same feelings during this latest exchange and blasted Lucci for taking his beef with Carter to social media.
“First off, why is he sharing their intimate conversations with the world?” someone wrote. “He has a lot of growing to do in order to be classified as a Real Man.”
“You don’t understand how to be in a relationship everyday,” another person wrote to Carter on Thursday. “Not going to be roses everything was just all good on the boat you get mad always take off his pictures on Instagram no matter what y’all go through he never takes down your picture.”
