Tamar Braxton fans have been praising the star for the “fine” Nigerian Harvard graduate she’s snagged since filing for divorce from husband Vince Herbert in 2017, but now they’re getting sick and tired of her hiding his face from them.
The singer’s followers let their thoughts be known Jan. 3 when the reality star posted a set of photos from a recent vacation on her Instagram page.
“🎼Say you gone do all the things you say that you gone for me 💕-Tekno,” the vocalist wrote in the caption as she quoted a song by the Nigerian singer-songwriter.

Braxton using a Nigerian artist’s song in her quote was certainly no mistake and neither was the lyric she chose to accompany the photo. But while her love for her man burns hot, fans have been left questioning why his face continues to be hidden.
“Why you hide him all the time? Is he married?”
“He has other wives that why he hiding…. tamar wake up please.”
“He’s always hiding must have a wife.”
“Why he hiding his face.”
“Lmao is he hiding…ducking low on purpose lol 👀👀”
Braxton was first pictured with her new man, whose name is rumored to be named Yemi, in July as they stood outside in Los Angeles. The star continued to give fans little peeks at her man, including one clip where she lusted after him at a pool.
She finally confirmed that she had moved on from her husband with the Nigerian California resident in September, when she appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show.”
“Thank you, God, he’s so fine! I can’t take it sometimes. It’s like a whole snack — a Lunchable! He lives in L.A., he’s originally from Nigeria, but he lived here for a while,” she said of the man she met in July at a friend’s birthday party.
Braxton didn’t stop there, either, explaining she’d be willing to walk down the aisle and marry him if she were asked. And, she’d love to give her 5-year-old son a brother or sister with her boyfriend.
“I absolutely would love to have some wonderful, beautiful African children,” Braxton said of welcoming more children in her life, in addition, Logan, who is her son with Herbert and who has since met her beau.
Regardless, Braxton has continued to make it a habit of hiding “Yemi’s” face from the public eye. In a clip of him trying to get Logan to eat organic apple sauce, the camera never pans up to fully reveal her man. And in a since-deleted video of the couple taking in Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On the Run II tour in October, Braxton’s boyfriend’s face is shown but it’s hidden behind massive sunglasses.
