Tamar Braxton is in love. Despite her divorce from estranged husband Vince Herbert remaining unfinalized, Braxton has moved on from the music executive and onto a Nigerian Harvard graduate.
Braxton gushed about her new man on “The Wendy Williams Show,” which airs Thursday, Sept. 13. Williams revealed that Braxton’s man “escorted” his girlfriend to the New York studio — fresh off their romantic Jamaican getaway — and he was in the building.
“I’ll describe him,” Williams says. “African, he’s in wealth finance, he’s got dreads … he’s got a really nice body.”

“He’s fine!” Braxton exclaims, barely being able to keep herself together while chatting about her man. “Hallelujah!”
While no name was given for the singer’s boo, Williams’ description of him matches the one Braxton was seen gazing lovingly at on a Los Angeles sidewalk earlier this summer. And behind the two women, a screenshot was plastered up of a video of her man lounging by a pool.
Braxton revealed she’d been seeing her new man for just three months after meeting him at a friend’s birthday party.
“Thank you, God, he’s so fine! I can’t take it sometimes. It’s like a whole snack — a Lunchable! He lives in L.A., he’s originally from Nigeria, but he lived here for a while,” she dished, adding that he went to Harvard.
Despite only dating for a few months, she said “it feels like forever” and confirmed that she’s fallen “very much” in love.
And as she forges ahead with her divorce from Herbert, Braxton addressed whether or not she’d remarry.
“It depends on if I’m asked or not,” she said bashfully.
The star was less shy about adding more children to her family.
“Absolutely,” she says. “I absolutely would love to have some wonderful, beautiful African children.”
This is the most Braxton has ever shared about her man after dropping hints all summer about seeing someone new. Fans who caught the episode preview were just as happy for the singer as she was for herself.
“Good for Tamar….glad she moved on..She seems better….Vince is still a business partner and when shit is over on a personal level let it go.”
