Tamar Braxton Touts New Relationship Amid Warning from Judge to Finalize Divorce

Tamar Braxton may be seeing someone new but she still hasn’t pulled the plug on her marriage to Vince Herbert. The singer filed to divorce her husband of nearly ten years in October 2017. But as she continues to tout her new relationship, a judge has warned her she needs to officially end things with her husband

Documents obtained by The Blast Saturday, Aug. 25 show that a Los Angeles County judge may dismiss Braxton’s divorce case altogether if it continues to remain inactive.

Since she’s filed to end her marriage last year, Herbert has not responded and there’s reportedly no evidence of the singer ever having properly served her music executive spouse with the documents. Braxton, according to the court, needs to provide proof that Herbert was served in order to gain a default judgment that doesn’t require his participation. If she can’t make that happen, she won’t be able to go through with getting divorced.

Despite all that, Braxton has made it clear that she is off the market with someone other than Herbert.

She was first spotted gazing up at a mystery man in L.A. back in July and fans swiftly began chatting about who he could be. That same month, she was lusting after a similar looking man at a pool, openly thanking God for her attractive blessing.

And earlier this month, Braxton made it clear on her Instagram story that she was in some kind of relationship writing, “Whew 💦. Being boo’d up is fun and all but it will make you tired as hell😴.”

And to further shut down any doubt that she wasn’t looking back at Herbert but had a forward focus on her new man, she replied to an Instagram user who straight up asked the star if she was with Herbert.

“U still with that dude Vince #askingforafriend,” the person asked.

“@totallyt420 #tellyafriendnaw,😩” Braxton said in response.

More recently, Braxton said she was lounging around in Fashion Nova apparel “waiting on ][T’Challa] to come back home to Wakanda👅🙌,” a clear reference to her new beau.
