Tamar Braxton Confirms She’s Through with Husband Vince Herbert

Tamar Braxton seems to have confirmed she and estranged husband Vince Herbert are not reconciling.

The star on Friday, Aug. 17 posted a quick Instagram video of her lounging in a casual outfit and sunglasses with a filter of butterflies fluttering around her.

“What an AMAZING day💕 enjoy your life kids💯 live it to the FULLEST 💦 #capfree,” Braxton captioned the post.

And it seems the singer has an extra reason to be enjoying her life and living it up these days. She confirmed to a fan that she’s not seeing Herbert any longer.

“U still with that dude Vince #askingforafriend,” user @totally420 asked.

“@totallyt420 #tellyafriendnaw 😩,” Braxton replied.

The post drew some eager responses from fans, including @totally420.

“@tamarbraxton no doubt think it’s better for u to not be with that dude lol.”

“@tamarbraxton f—in’ right Tay Tay!!”

“She lying 🤣🤷🏾‍♀️.”

“@tamarbraxton this is definitely not a laughing matter bc I hate for my Tay Tay to be going through this but baby your response has taken me out 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 forever the petty 👑😂❤️.”

It seems all hopes any other Braxton followers had for her to reunite with the father of her 5-year-old son Logan have definitively been dashed. Although that’s not surprising considering Braxton was caught getting close to a mystery man earlier this summer.

A stealthy IG user captured Braxton looking up a new guy in Los Angeles. And Braxton may still be going strong with her man. Last month she was caught lusting after a similar looking man with locs at her pool earlier this summer, a moment that had fans in stitches. And Braxton posted a more intimate moment where it seemed she was gearing up to have him over for some alone time.

Braxton filed to divorce Herbert in October 2017 after nine years of marriage. The split has yet to be finalized.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
