Tamar Braxton Warned to Speed Up Divorce from Estranged Husband Vince Herbert

Tamar Braxton‘s split from estranged husband Vince Herbert is at risk of being dismissed if she doesn’t speed things up, according to the L.A. County courts.

Court documents obtained by The Blast show the “Love and War” singer has been warned that her petition for divorce from her husband of nine years might be scrapped altogether due to inactivity. To move forward, the court said Braxton needs to show proof that Herbert was served divorce papers in order to acquire a default judgement without his involvement.

Braxton filed for divorce from Herbert back in  October 2017, but reports claim he has yet to respond to the petition. There’s also no proof that Braxton properly served him with the divorce papers. Their split came amid rumors that Herbert was unfaithful and got another woman pregnant during their marriage.

If something doesn’t happen soon, however, the pair, who share a 5-year-old son, may be stuck with each other for a little while longer.

Earlier this month, the R&B songstress made it clear she was absolutely through with Vince after sharing an Instagram video of her lounging around, living her best life with the cryptic caption, “…enjoy your life kids, live it to the FULLEST 💦 #capfree.” Braxton also confirmed to a fan that she and Herbert were no longer seeing one another, squashing any rumors of them possibly reconciling.

Since their estrangement, the couple has put their California home up for sale and Tamar has been open about getting cozy with a new mystery man. The singer confirmed she was indeed “boo’d up” earlier this month as her divorce from Herbert continues to drag on.

Folks still aren’t sure exactly who the mystery man is, but the two were spotted outside a restaurant in mid-July. Whoever he is, Braxton seems to be completely happy.
