Tamar Braxton Shuts Things Down with Newest Photoshoot

Tamar Braxton’s new photoshoot is shutting things down on the ‘gram.

A mock-up of a magazine spread from celebrity stylist Billingsley features Braxton in all her natural, bald-headed beauty. In it, she’s donning a gown by Ae’lkemi, thigh-high boots from Jennifer Le and jewelry by Cartier. And the singer’s smoldering makeup look was done by Donovan Lamar.

“iCON Mag – The Mock Up ft: @tamarbraxton. 🔥💥✨ (SWIPE) PT1. just create,” the stylist captioned the photoset on Instagram.

While a real Icon magazine cover hasn’t been cemented as yet, that hasn’t stopped fans from gushing over the performer’s look for possible publication.

“Shut s— down boo😘.”

“Look at my Tay Tay slaying 😍😍😍.”

“Flawless.”

“Yasssssssssss Tay Tay!!!”

“You always make sure Tay’s serving looks. Everything about this is on point.”

“IM HERE FOR IT !!!!!!!!”

These new photos render Braxton recognizable again after another photo of the star surfaced on Aug. 4. The singer posed with a fan, as captured by her fan-made Instagram account, Tamar Chronicles. But Braxton — who was still rocking the bald look — didn’t quite look the same. Her hair was cut a lot lower and that combined with the huge, round sunglasses made her look practically like another person.

But the star isn’t known for keeping one single look for too long. She famously ditched her long, blonde wigs months after filing to divorce her husband Vince Herbert last year.

“I’m over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people’s comments & opinions hell…even my OWN feelings! WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!! And for me, that starts TODAY 🤸🏾‍♀️ #happysttamarsday🍀,” she explained on Instagram back in March.

Even during her concert runs this summer, Braxton has switched up her look mid-show. She’s started her nightly performances with a blonde wig before snatching it off and completing her set bare-headed.
