Tamar Braxton Barely Recognizable, Switches Up Hairstyle Again

A fan’s photo with singer Tamar Braxton is turning heads after the star’s bold new look has rendered her virtually unrecognizable.

Braxton’s fan-made Instagram account, Tamar Chronicles, uploaded a photo from a meet and greet captioning the image, “COME ON BAWDY!! 🖤.”Tamar Braxton

While the caption celebrated the “Braxton Family Values” star’s taut abs, fans who commented were also focused on the singer’s overall appearance.

“@mrz_muham killing the bald head.”

“Is that abs I see👀 let me find out Tamar out here working.”

“Da fade is so tight… But I love when Tamar goes w/o makeup!”

There’s no denying, however, that Braxton’s look is different from how it typically is — even if she has been rocking the bald look as of late. Her hair is noticeably lower in the photo. In fact, it’s virtually non-existent compared to her previous look of at least having enough hair on her head to color.

Braxton first shaved her head back in March, explaining it had nothing to do with her divorce from husband Vince Herbert.

“I’m over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people’s comments & opinions hell…even my OWN feelings! WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!! And for me, that starts TODAY 🤸🏾‍♀️ #happysttamarsday🍀,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Since then, Braxton has switched up her look, rocking a pink and then a purple cropped cut between going back to wearing some wigs every now and then. Fans had taken issue with Braxton sporting the long hair after she indicated she wore long, blonde hair because her estranged spouse enjoyed it.

“I use to have all blonde wigs,” Braxton said on “Steve” before noting she’d be selling them. “I won’t be needing them. Vince liked blonde head, light faired women. I just wasn’t born with no blonde hair. That’s the responsibility women have is to stay current for your man.”

“You said that you would never put wigs on again. You’re good either way but don’t speak in [haste],” an Instagram user charged at Braxton months later.

Braxton denied ever saying that, however.
