‘Shut the Hell Up’: Yandy Smith Snaps on Fans Who Suggests She Leaves Mendeecees After Foster Daughter Addresses ‘Kickout’ Rumors

Yandy Smith-Harris clearly isn’t in any mood for folks criticizing her family or marriage to Mendeecees Harris.

Since her husband’s prison release a few months ago, there’s been speculation about Smith-Harris kicking out her foster daughter Infinity Gilyard. Not too long ago, the “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star revealed that in the state of New York a convicted felon couldn’t live in the same household as a foster child, therefore some people believed she replaced Gilyard for her husband.

On Tuesday, Smith-Harris re-posted her foster daughter’s YouTube video of the teenage girl addressing the rumors. The mother of two wrote in her Instagram caption, “Kicked out😳 @therealinfiniti_ can’t believe you put that on your YouTube. All I can do is laugh. … 🤨. Guess she had enough of the comments and decided to tell y’all.”

Smith-Harris’ post instantly received mixed reactions.

“Nice click bate though…lol”

“Yandy goes hard for her family. She loves her family. And she is a good mom. I don’t believe she put Infinity out”

“You should have known once your husband got out this shit wasn’t gonna work”

One fan in particular suggested that her husband was hindering her from living her life. The person wrote, “Yandy that street dude makes you look weak he’s the reason you haven’t reach your full potential you better than that.”

Seemingly over detractors, Smith-Harris responded, “Shut the hell up. I’ll carry him til the day i die just like he’s carried me. You must not know bout me but keep watching and learning how a real one do it.”

After serving five years behind bars after pleading guilty to drug trafficking charges, Harris was released from prison. He currently lives in the same household as Smith-Harris and their two children. Gilyard confirmed in her YouTube video that she currently lives in a dorm and stays home at Smith-Harris’ house on the weekend.

The “LHHATL” star mentored Gilyard for three years through a nonprofit organization. In 2018, she took the teenager in and started the fostering process, which eventually was approved by a judge.
