It looks like new parenthood is doing a number on singer Keyshia Cole.
The “Let It Go” artist expressed to fans over the weekend that her newborn son has apparently been keeping her and boyfriend Niko “Khale” Hale up during the wee hours of the night. She took to Instagram Story on Sunday, Sept. 29, and posted a barefaced photo, revealing apparent bags under her eyes.
“I’m only 2 months in and I need a facial and to sleep an entire weekend!!” the four-time Grammy nominated singer wrote, also adding a “Baby Shark” gif. “I think I just nodded off on the movie I was watching with bae @nikokhale I woke up and he was gone 👀”
In August, just weeks after she gave birth, the R&B crooner admitted that her newborn son was giving her a run for her money, writing, “Baby boy, kicking my ass.”
Cole, 37, and Hale, 23, welcomed their newborn and first child together Thursday, August 1. The infant’s name and identity has yet to be revealed.
The couple celebrated their son’s one-month mark last month and rejoiced about their new bundle of joy entering their lives.
“It’s been one month since this little heartbeat entered our lives,” Cole wrote on September 2. “I couldn’t be any more OVERJOYED at the amount of love he has brought with him.”
The second-time mother, who shares 10-year-old son Daniel Gibson Jr. with estranged husband and former NBA player Daniel Gibson, first announced her pregnancy in May and confirmed weeks later she was having a baby boy.
“Surrounded by Loooooooooove❤️ Just enjoying good times and GREAT VIBES 🤰🏽, ” she wrote, adding a photo of her protruding belly. “I’m ready for ALL THE Love and GREAT ENERGY.”
Social media users have been probing Cole and Hale to reveal their child’s identity, but they however, will get a peek at the singer’s second push at motherhood in a new reality show special set to air on BET. A premiere date for the show hasn’t yet been announced.
Although Cole doesn’t post much on her social media, her followers have still been bombarding her with loads of congratulations.
“🏆💯your a QUEEN LOVE YOUU congrats again 🙏🏿 blessings on blessings,” one fan wrote on September 29.
Another added, “When are you gone show the baby? Sending you and @nikokhale my love 💕”
