It seems R&B artist Keyshia Cole is enjoying new motherhood to the fullest.
The “Take Me Away” singer just celebrated the one-month mark of her and boyfriend Niko “Khale” Hale‘s newborn son. She took to Instagram on Monday afternoon and rejoiced about their new bundle of joy entering their lives.
“It’s been one month since this little heartbeat entered our lives,” the second-time mom wrote across a photo of a stuffed elephant. “I couldn’t be any more OVERJOYED at the amount of love he has brought with him.”
Cole, 37, and Hale, 23, welcomed their son and first child together Thursday, August 1. The infant’s name and identity has yet to be revealed.
Fans have been probing the star to see the baby’s face, but she revealed last week that she’s not allowed to do so until the airing of her upcoming reality show on BET.
“It’s becoming so hard to keep from posting pictures of my little guy,” she wrote on her Instagram story August 28. “His eyes are everything!! … But I have to wait until the show airs!”
The singer’s untitled new reality series will be a baby special set to premiere on the Black Entertainment Television network. The premiere date has yet to be revealed.
Cole first announced she was pregnant with her second child in May with a picture of her protruding baby bump. She also has 10-year-old son Daniel Gibson Jr., whom she shares with estranged husband and former Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson.
Although Cole doesn’t post much on her social media, her followers have still been bombarding her with loads of congratulations.
“Congratulations on your new bundle of joy, you are one of my favorite female artist💗,” one fan commented from a post on August 10.
Another added, “Congrats!!! 🙏❤️ we can’t wait to see the baby I bet he’s cute!”
Someone else commented, “Congratulations on it all 😍 I’m tuning in on the show when it airs to see your baby boy”
