A meme Jennifer Williams uploaded to Instagram recently has drawn some curiosity from fans.
The star of VH1’s “Basketball Wives” posted a message to her account on the social media site Saturday, March 9, reading, “By the time they realize your worth, you’ll be worth more.”
“And out the door…. ☝🏽☝🏽☝🏽” she added in the caption.
With the meme appearing to indicate she may not have been offered enough to appear on season 8 of the series executive produced by Shaunie O’Neal, fans have wondered if she was referring to the long-running reality show.
“Is this about Basketball Wives 🤔 @jenniferwilliams.”
“Are you filming?”
Unlike most of the cast, Williams has yet to be caught filming for the next season of O’Neal’s show.
Filming for “Basketball Wives” began in January, and since then Jackie Christie and Evelyn Lozada have been seen filming twice, as well as Ogom “OG” Chijindu and former newcomer CeCe Gutierrez. Fellow ex-newbie Kristen Scott has also been seen in front of the cameras a couple of times.
But fans have been most blatantly upset to see Tami Roman missing from the set.
“No Tami this season??”
“Where is Tami??”
“All I know is that Tami better be returning.”
Few people, if any, have mentioned the likely disappearance of Williams from the show.
However, if her comments on “The Breakfast Club” as well as her apparent happiness in love are any indication, Williams may not want to come back to the show regardless.
She told the radio show last year her mystery man “is not a fan of reality shows” and she’d like to do something new despite her contractual obligations.
“Every season I feel like somebody has to take the fall,” she said in September. “It’s like they gang up on somebody every season. It was my turn. I honestly would like to move forward in my life. I still am under contract, so I don’t know what’s gonna happen. I do know that allegedly the production company got fired, so I don’t know what’s gonna [happen] with the show, but I just want to move forward.”
