As filming continues for season eight of “Basketball Wives” fans have been treated to some sneak peeks as to who is coming back. And the return of Ogom “OG” Chijindu and CeCe Gutierrez has some fans upset.
OG and Gutierrez were seen filming recently, and a boomerang video of the stylish women between takes has been uploaded to the Basketball Wives Tea Instagram account as proof.
“Cece And Og Serving LOOKS while filming 🎞 💕🔥 #BasketBallWives #BBWS8 #BBWLA,” the account captioned the quick Feb. 14 clip.
However, several fans were not happy to hear that the pair, who made their debut on the show during season 7, was coming back.
“I was hoping not to see them on the next season. Well CiCi more cause she don’t know how to speak up or have a back bone.”
“Dnt like either one of these ladies, bad attitudes.”
“Ugh their still on the show😩😩😩”
However, not everyone was dismayed by their return.
“Glad both of them are back! My fav newbies are no longer newbies 😜”
“Yesss they found people to keep this season!!!”
“Love both of them 😍❤️😭”
Gutierrez, who is dating Malaysia Pargo’s cousin, retired NBA coach and basketball player Byron Scott, made her mark on the last season of the VH1 series when a joke Evelyn Lozada made about her ethnicity stirred controversy.
OG’s storyline largely focused on her quest to get her boyfriend Kwame Alexander, who plays professional basketball overseas, to propose.
However, one star who has not been seen in front of “Basketball Wives” cameras is Tami Roman, much to the distress of fans.
Several of them inundated the comments of the reality show’s fan IG account Wednesday when they discovered Roman’s absence.
“No Tami this season??”
“Where is Tami??”
“All I know is that Tami better be returning.”
Roman told “Entertainment Tonight” last month that her status on the show is still being discussed and her return is contingent upon “certain changes” being made “for me to be comfortable in that environment.”
