Ciara has fans creating a spectacle over the singer’s strong knees after uploading her take of the Umlando dance challenge.
The trend, which became viral earlier this year, involves individuals gyrating their hips. In the Instagram clip shared on June 17, Ciara danced along while in what appeared to be a studio to an instrumental version of Blaqnick and Masterblaq’s track “La Mezcla.”
The 36-year-old, who sported blue hair with a black top, camouflage pants, and clear platforms, posed for the camera before completing her dance. As the clip continues, Ciara is seen moving her derrière in a circular motion before swiftly dropping to the ground and twerking.
Alongside the post, the mother of three expressed that the dance describes how she plans to jump into the weekend. In the caption, she wrote, “Ready to JUMP into the Wknd like.” As the video circulated online, many brought up the singer’s knee strength. One individual claimed that Ciara appeared to have influenced Megan Thee Stallion.
“The original knee queen.”
“She walked so meg could run.”
“Them knees indestructible.”
“It was the swivel drop pop that made y’all realize her knees be kneeing and y’all’s be knee-CAP.”
“Just a friendly remembered that she had the good knees first.”
Among the previous remarks, others brought up Ciara’s husband, Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson. The comments talked about how Wilson isn’t going anywhere and why he acts a certain way following Ciara’s latest video.
While mentioning Wilson’s sweet gesture of surprising his wife with flowers, one wrote, “This why Russell was popping up out of them bushes on her with flowers, he ain’t going nowhere.”
Another said, “Russ ain’t leaving them long legs no time soon gone CiCi.” A third Instagram user stated, “That’s why Russell be acting like that.”
