‘I Need to Speak to My Child’:  Tamar Braxton Claims Ex-Husband Vincent Blocked Her, Says She Can’t Talk to Their Son

Tamar Braxton is making some serious allegations about her ex-husband and music executive, Vincent Herbert. The pair filed for divorce in 2017, just one month before their ninth wedding anniversary. The post journey has not been easy, according to the R&B, artist who recently claimed that Herbert has blocked her from his phone and that she cannot communicate with their son Logan when he is with his father.

The former “Braxton Family Values” star took to her Instagram Live earlier this week, where she aired out her frustrations. “What’s happening, y’all? I’m going live right now because I have been calling my son all day long, and it seems like this is the only way to get Logan Vincent Herbert on this phone. So I’m sure he’s going to be coming on live soon, and I need you to call your mother. Stop playing with me,” she said.

The 44-year-old singer asked, “Why do baby daddies and baby mommas think it’s okay to block you while they got your child? What’s that? Who told you that?”

Braxton added before addressing both fans who were showing her support and critics who accused her of using the opportunity to speak ill of her ex-husband. “I can’t call Vince. I’m blocked, okay? There you have it. That’s why I’m looking for my child. I need to speak to my child. That is so corny!”

She conyinued, “No, we’re not bashing. Listen, my baby daddy is my cousin, okay? Just like families, we argue and fight. We don’t get along,” she said. “I probably was calling too much. Well, I only got one. I’m going to call my son 13,000 times a day. There you have it.”

Still, things weren’t always this turbulent between Herbert and Braxton, who, in a 2020 interview, opened about her co-parenting relationships with Logan’s dad. While speaking to “Entertainment Tonight,” the “All the Way Home” singer said their troubles were triggered by their initial inability to let go of the romantic aspect of their relationship.

“It’s all the years of trying to figure out where we fit, right? Because for 16 years, we’ve been together and been best friends, and I think what we had to revert back to is remembering that we were friends first, and it took a little while,” she said at the time.
