‘Twin Where?’: Joseline Hernandez’s Post About Rihanna’s Pregnancy Derails When She Calls Her Her ‘Twin’

The Puerto Rican Princess Joseline Hernandez took to social media to celebrate Rihanna, her “twin,” on having her first baby. However, the reality star was not ready for the public backlash she received for daring to say that she and the billionaire pop stars were “gemelas.”

Over the weekend, singer and businesswoman Rihanna and her rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky almost broke the internet when pictures surfaced of them going for a romantic stroll in Harlem. While fans were excited to see the couple casually out together, it was Ri Ri’s exposed baby bump that brought on mixed reactions from fans of both artists.

The multi-GRAMMY winning artist was stylishly photographed draped in oversized necklaces, baggy denim jeans and a floor-length pink-quilted coat as a shirt. Buttoned only in one place, the flare of the outer garment provided the perfect peek-a-boo to her belly.

Friends, fans, stans and almost anyone with access to a device took to social media to extend warm wishes to the couple. One person attracted attention with a caption linking her and the Bajan beauty in a familiar way.

Hernandez, who burst on the scene in 2012 as the love interest for producer Stevie J on “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta,” posted her remarks on Instagram, but fans immediately aimed to shut her down.

Right before noon on Monday, Jan. 31, she wrote, “STOP STOP STOP my #twin is A MOTHER CONGRATULATIONS beautiful @badgalriri.”

By 1 pm, the roasting started.

Baanks_ commented, “TWIN?!?! DONT EVERY PLAY WITH MY FASHION MOTHA LIKE THAT.”

“Not too much on the twin,” the realajaa wrote.

Another comment from justablogger100 posted laughing crying emojis followed by “respectfully puerto rican princess.”

“Well Joslin is the wish version of Rihanna,” joked sammiejohard in the legions of comments.

One fan agreed that the dancer was attractive, but might be exaggerating about them looking alike, just a bit.

Another said, “Ard now u cute and all but we not gone say twin…”

One Instagram profile, The Neighborhood Talk, caught wind of the comparison and asked its followers to chime in. One of those who hopped in the comments section was Ms. Hernandez herself.

After posting a screenshot of her profile, TNT asked, “Joseline says Rihanna is her twin! Y’all see it?”

Hernandez said, “Not @theneighborhoodtalk but the fans.” The “Joseline’s Cabaret” had almost 770 likes on her comment and 42 replies mostly of people declaring both of them are beautiful and that they see the similarities.

She commented again, “Y’all don’t hate! Y’all see it” and that statement received almost 5,000 likes and almost 400 comments, many saluting Hernandez.

Hernandez knows what it is like to be pregnant in the public’s eye. During the filming of the “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” fifth-season reunion special, she announced to the world that she was having Stevie J’s sixth child. In 2017, VH1 hosted a special called “Joseline’s Special Delivery,” a docu-special that followed the last days of her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter.

Bonnie Bella Jordan was born on Dec. 28, 2016, and is now, at five years old, a social media influencer with over 157K followers on her own Instagram page.
