‘FiF Looking Like 2003’: 50 Cent’s Video Leads Fans to Bring Up His ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ Days

50 Cent’s recent Instagram post has his 27 million internet followers feeling nostalgic.

Earlier this week, the television boss shared a brief clip of himself riding around, appearing to be engaged in a conversation over Gucci Mane and Jeezy’s seemingly reignited feud. Earlier this week, Gucci released a single titled “Rumors” featuring Chicago-based rapper Lil Durk in which he named-dropped Jeezy’s dead friend and fellow rapper Pookie Loc. The “She Miss Me” emcee allegedly shot and killed the young man, whose real name is Henry Lee Clark III, in self-defense during a robbery attempt in 2005.

In the clip, Fif was spotted wearing a white and beige Jordan hoodie and white Nike headband very reminiscent of the fashion in the early 2000s. However, before responding to Gucci and Jeezy subject, the “Power” creator compliments the Memphis-based rapper Blac Youngsta. “I f-ck with black Youngsta,” he said at the start of the video. “I like that n-gga.”

The 46-year-old captioned the post, “yo this sh-t be crazy out here stay dangerous, that way you feel safe. Get the strap!  Gucci say he smokin on pooky Loc.”

Fif’s friend then started speaking about Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti, to which the “21 Questions” musician responded, “Yeah yeah… That n***a said, ‘I think my house is haunted, yeah, by who? The ghost of Pookie.'” He burst out laughing after spitting out the lyrics to the diss track.

Fans in the comment section pointed out how Fif resembles his album for his 2003 and debut studio project “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” on which he appeared shirtless with a white headband.

“GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN,” wrote Blac Youngsta. “50 back wearing a headband .. uh oh,” commented another person. “Head band 50 is the equivalent of Hoody Melo, Jersey Bite Kobe, Miami Lebron, or Tongue out Jordan,” a third person quipped. “uh oh, that means either @50cent on Demon Time or he need his money by Monday, n-ggas better chill b.” Another commented, “FiF looking like 2003 fif..”
