Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson took to Twitter on Nov. 30 to express his gratitude in becoming a stay-at-home father following his fiancée Sharelle Rosado’s trailer for her new show, “Selling Tampa.”
The couple, which is expecting their first child together, has a blended family of 10, excluding the latest addition. Johnson has seven children from a previous relationship, while Rosado has three.
Rosado’s upcoming series “Selling Tampa,” scheduled to premiere on Netflix on Dec.15, is a spinoff of “Selling Sunset,” a reality show that follows the lives of real estate agents from a luxury property agency as they attempt to sell multimillion-dollar homes.
The reality star shared the show’s trailer on her Twitter account with the caption, “The trailer for Selling Tampa is here! [We’re] so excited for you all to tune in! Here’s the first look inside my world at Allure Realty. #SellingTampa premieres December 15th | Only on Netflix.”
Johnson took it a step further by not only reposting his fiancée’s tweet but also revealed how he always wanted to be a “stay-at-home” dad now that Rosado will be potentially bringing home the loot with her latest project. He jokingly wrote, “I manifested the life I’ve always dreamed of & that’s becoming a stay at home dad.”
As fans began to view Johnson’s post, many of them played along with the former Bengals wide receiver by congratulating him. One social media user even called Johnson an “inspiration.”
“Someone needs to look after your 85 kids Ocho! Congrats man.”
“Welcome to the club.”
“Living the dream.”
“Bro is my inspiration. Gaming & taking care of his kids.”
Johnson, who hasn’t participated in organized football since 2017, has moved on to other business ventures, including his podcast “I Am Athlete.” The show also stars former NFL players Brandon Marshall, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder.
