It seems the drama continues between Miss Kitty and Jessica.
After transitioning from the New York franchise to “Black Ink Crew: Chicago,” Miss Kitty was offered an opportunity to work at Charmaine Walker‘s tattoo shop, 2nd City Ink. The former brand ambassador would fill in for Walker, since she’s taken time away from the shop due to her mother’s death.
There’s one problem: Jessica, the 2nd City Ink manager, has an issue with Kitty working at the shop. She questioned Kit’s work experience and insinuated that Walker shouldn’t have hired the former Black Ink employee. Jessica also felt some type of way toward Kit after their catty exchange over 9MAG owner Ryan Henry.
In a trailer for the Jan. 29 episode, Kitty and Jessica can be seen sitting down face to face and discussing Kit’s role in the shop. Jess made it clear that she was “managing partner” and a tattoo artist. When she questioned why Kitty was at 2nd City Ink, Kit replied, “I wouldn’t be here if she [Charmaine] didn’t want me here or I don’t know what you’re doing or not doing for her.”
Jess became defensI’ve and reminded Kitt that the 2nd City employees were her “team.” Kitty, on the other hand, didn’t seem fazed one bit by Jess’ snarky remarks.
Several “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” viewers felt Jess was wrong and acting rudely toward Kitty.
“Ya on kitttys KITTTY 😭. Jess is a damn hater all that wasn’t even necessary. She’s jealous of kitty for no reason smh.”
“This was just sickening!! Jess don’t know this woman!!! So this is what we doing now? Grown women. Damn shame. Please fire her already! “
