Nene Leakes and Wendy Williams were finally able to catch up over the weekend after Hurricane Dorian threatened to keep them apart. But once they did link up, fans lashed out over their hair.
After rescheduling a Labor Day weekend trip in Miami, the pair were originally set to live it up in New York City with Tamar Braxton, but the singer’s issue with a fellow passenger caused her to cancel her plans and head home instead. Meanwhile, Leakes lamented the fact that her weekend with “The Wendy Williams Show” host was drawing to a close.

But while Williams and Leakes enjoyed each other’s company, fans dissed the wigs they decided to wear.

It’s not the first time Leakes and Williams have been targeted for their units. Last week, many fans collectively likened the pals to the characters from the 2004 comedy “White Chicks” starring Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans.

Leakes and Williams had been spotted hanging out together and putting their past issues — which included some perceived shade Williams threw at Leakes’ husband Gregg Leakes in 2013 — behind them. In doing so, they grabbed a bite to eat and attended Rick Ross’ “Port Of Miami 2” album release party at New York City’s Up & Down nightclub the other weekend.
