‘Awkward’: The Reality Behind Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada and Malaysia Pargo’s Photo Op Revealed

Months after a photo surfaced of estranged “Basketball Wives” castmembers Malaysia Pargo, Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams posing at the latter’s sip and shop, the episode finally aired last night and fans got to see how it went down.

Back in May, Williams hosted an event connected to her clothing brand Classy Girl Wardrobe in support of the nonprofit organization Not Just October, which works to expand knowledge and resources for those affected by cancer. It’s what claimed the life of Williams’ mother in 2015.

Despite Williams’ issues with Lozada and Pargo (the latter of whom threw a table at Williams last season and the former of whom only recently started to patch things up with Williams after the clothing line head allegedly made disparaging comments about Lozada’s daughter), the women gathered to support the event.

“Jennifer and I are nowhere near being BFFs but I really want to put any feelings I have aside for the cause,” Lozada explained in a confessional.

Then, the unexpected photo op occurred. Lozada revealed in her confessional she expected it to be a “small, intimate gathering.”

“The picture between Jennifer, Evelyn and I is a bit awkward because I feel like my trust with Jennifer is just not there yet,” Pargo said during a confessional scene. “But if you’re doing something to honor your mom, I’m going to go in with respect.”

And while Williams said she felt “so blessed” on screen, she took to Twitter Wednesday night to blast the “BS” photo.

“So here is the set up to the BS! This event is honoring my mother and yes I want the memories. If you don’t f*^k with me, don’t come and be fake and phony! I’m so tired of this BS!” she said before adding in another tweet, “Stay home or decline to take the photo! Somehow these women always flip it to make it about them! Selfish AF #Disgusting.”

Lozada and Pargo have not spoken out since the August 28 episode aired. However, folks turned on Williams and called her out for her own instances of dishing out BS.

“Stop 🛑 giving BS, maybe you won’t get BS, try that and let me know if that work. Do on to others, if you don’t want it done to you just a simple.”

“Girl, how are you gonna say this after you showed up to the party thing for Shaunie’s son after his heart surgery? A bit hypocritical if you ask me.”

Meanwhile, viewers also slammed the phoniness of the pic.

“The fakeness and hypocrisy between these ladies is cringey af!”

“All this fakness in one pic!!! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️”

“Wow the fakeness is REAL 😩😩😩”
