Tamar Braxton recently proved she and estranged husband Vince Herbert won’t let their ongoing divorce finalization process get in the way of parenting their son Logan together.
The pair reunited Monday, August 26, to drop off 6-year-old Logan at school as he prepared to start first grade.
“First grade was harder for me……beans was a champ👍can’t believe he’s growing up so fast 🥰😰,” Braxton wrote of her only child.
The caption was accompanied by two photos. The first saw Braxton smiling alongside her son. The other was snapped from afar as Herbert held his son’s hands and appeared to pray with him.
Fans eagerly applauded the pair for balancing their relationship for the sake of their child.

It seems as if it was just yesterday that Braxton and Herbert welcomed Logan into the world. The parents ventured down the path of in vitro fertilization but actually wound up conceiving their son naturally.
“I have a ‘Love on Top,’ I’m pregnant,” Braxton said on “Good Morning on America” in 2013, likening her announcement to the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards performance where Beyoncé debuted her baby bump.
In the years since Braxton and Herbert raised their son as they filmed their WEtv reality series “Tamar & Vince.”
But in October 2017, the singer filed for divorce from her former manager.
“I told myself I would do whatever it took to keep my family together, to see a smile on someone who has seen us smile … hoping we could offer them [the] hope, faith, love and dignity that I once possessed,” Braxton said on Instagram the month after the filing. “But the truth is all of those things are NOT within the marriage of Tamar and Vince … at least not anymore.”
But the end of their marriage hasn’t spelled the end of Vince’s relationship with Logan. He joined Braxton and her sisters when Logan turned 5 and celebrated his birthday at Disney World. Currently, Braxton and Herbert are working out a custody agreement after a judge granted them a “status only” divorce.
