It seems former “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee is seemingly fed up with folks constantly bringing up her latest legal woes.
The star was recently released from jail after dodging more than 54 years of prison time for her child abuse case. In October, she was accused of physically assaulting her then-11-year-old daughter, by banging the child’s head into a locker at her middle school. Lee would plead guilty to five charges, including first-degree cruelty to children, and was handed 10 years of probation.
Although Lee’s legal battle is now behind her, some fans refuse to stop bringing up her past.
The 35-year-old mother of two took to Instagram Saturday and wished her eldest daughter Samaria a happy birthday with a sweet photo collage.
“I’m so thankful I get to be your Mom, you Give me a million reasons to never give up!” Lee wrote in her caption. “God couldn’t hAve giving me a better turn up partner 4life I love you Samaria….#Happybirthday….”
Her post was instantly bombarded with critics who resurrected the abuse claims.
“So why you smack her into her school locker for 😕?”
“Girl we forget u even got kids.”
“But a few weeks ago you smashed her head into a locker- okay den 🙄.”
Enough of critics’ remarks, Lee fired back, “Actually it wasn’t her your speaking of my youngest daughter who that never happened to either! -okay Den! … Stay Ina fans place and take what I give you!!”
Lee was backed by her fans who denounced detractors and reassured the reality star that she’s a “great mother.”
“Tommie you are so beautiful and a great mother f–k these miserable pipo And what a beautiful daughter as well!!!❤️ hbd tommies baby girl!”
“These mfs need to mind dey business nd not cum for tommie. U a AWESOME REAL ASF MOM 💋. Happy bday to ur Beautiful daughter 🎂 enjoy.”
Lee continues to maintain her innocence and denies slamming her daughter’s head into a locker as earlier reports stated. She has also added that the entire case really did a number on her.
“This whole situation really took a toll on me … You know how reports go, it was a lot put on that and it wasn’t like that at all,” she explained of the alleged incident during a July 15 interview with The Breakfast Club.
“My daughter took edibles to school and she got a charge from that,” she continued. “She took ’em to school, all the kids ate ’em, and, basically, they called me… all the kids were rushed to the hospital.”
Lee indicated that she feared that her daughter was going down the same path as her and didn’t want that for her youngest child.
“I was arrested when I was 15 years old as a runaway and that’s how I started my record,” she further explained. “It really hindered my life …”
