Tamar Braxton is planning on stepping into the New Year a happy woman and her fans a filled with glee over it.
After a year dealing with her divorce from estranged husband Vince Herbert and some ups and downs with her professional life, the star is ending 2018 on a high note and in love with her son, Logan and Nigerian boyfriend.
“I swear I’m so happy EVERYDAY!! Nothing about it is forced. It’s apparent from sun up to sun down💕I’m so grateful to know God loves me so much! See y’all in #nyc dec28th,” Braxton captioned a video of herself gazing into the camera and covered in an Instagram filter Dec. 18.

Fans of the star, who is set to take the stage with DJ Mitch at New York City’s Sony Hall next week, applauded her for ending her year on a high note.

Braxton is wrapping up the year in love with her Harvard graduate boyfriend, rumored to be named Yemi, and getting back to performing on stage. It’s a welcome change from hashing out her divorce proceedings and custody with Herbert as well as drama over her band ditching her over the summer. That came before reports emerged about the singer’s supposed outburst and abrupt walk off from Snoop Dogg’s “Redemption of a Dogg” in November.
The star also began making amends with her sisters, from whom she became estranged after most of the family quit “Braxton Family Values” over the summer.
