Tamar Braxton Fires Entire Band After They Ditch Her for Essence Fest. — and Vince May Be to Blame

Tamar Braxton has had enough of her band. The singer gave them the boot after the entire set of musicians apparently abandoned her to perform at Essence Festival this weekend.

“Well my band is fired( tag the bestest) ..CAUSE….my tour got picked up today officially,” she said in a now-edited caption on Instagram Thursday, July 5.

tamar braxtonIn the clip above, Braxton, still rocking her bald head, is apparently forced to perform with only her DJ after the band fails to show up to her concert in Philadelphia.

One fan asked why Braxton gave her band the boot and several chimed in saying it’s because they’d rather go perform at Essence Fest in New Orleans.

“YES!!!!!!!! They DID!!! & LIED!!!!!!” Braxton responded in confirmation.

Meanwhile, Gossip In the City reported the band left because of Vincent Herbert, Braxton’s estranged husband and manager.

“When asked about Vince, the band responded with a big ‘f— Vince,'” the IG page said.

Still, things picked up as the singer, who announced she was going back on the road, was getting help with dancers from Models Inc. and local visual artist Iris Bonner. Bonner also gave her a long blonde wig to parade around the stage in.

Fans have been remarking on the performer’s wig — which she removed during the show — as Braxton got rid of the long tresses months ago, saying on Instagram she was “finally free.”

“Aw I miss your wigs. Love it, pop it mami.” “Sis , What EYE Want To Know Is When Did You Snatch Off The WIG 🗣.”

“U just better slap a wig on for certain songs sis! 😂 Work!! 💃🏾 🙌🏿.”

They’ve also been buzzing about Braxton going on tour.

“It’s about TIIIIIME. Was this the big surprise you teased last month?”

“When are you releasing the dates !!?!” “Hope you’re coming to Vegas!!! Please!”

In the end, the youngest Braxton sister capped off the long and tiring day with a few cocktails.
