Countess Vaughn

Actress Countess Vaughn recently appeared on “The Doctors” to share her horrific experience wearing lace-front wigs.

After consistently gluing wigs to her hairline edges for five years, she suffered an allergic reaction that left her with a bacterial infection and major hair loss.

“The red flag was the oozing from my ears, forehead, the whole nape around my neck,” she said.

Even in light of these signs, it took Vaughn six months to stop applying the glue that was causing her serious harm.

In the aftermath Vaughn now has to live with facial discoloration that it is often mistaken for the skin disease vitiligo and hair loss so severe she creates a faux hairline with an eye makeup pencil.
