Keyshia Cole and her family went all out for her baby shower this past weekend with an elaborate bash that most folks could only dream of.
The “I Choose You” singer is expected to be three days from meeting her and boyfriend Niko “Khale” Hale‘s unborn son and has apparently been experiencing a strong case of Braxton Hicks, false labor contractions. Nevertheless, Cole and her family still managed to find the time to celebrate the welcoming of her second child.
The expectant mother took to Instagram Sunday afternoon and shared a series of photos of herself and her loved ones seemingly having the time of their lives at her baby shower on Saturday. Hale was by her side along with Cole’s biological mother Frankie Lons, her adoptive mother Yvonne Cole, her cousin Maquisha Miller, “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” stars Paris Phillips and Zell Swag and several others.
Cole however stole the show by sporting an all white mesh dress that accentuated her bulging belly, a beautiful and blue floral wreath headband and a pair of comfortable transparent flats. One image showed both Cole and Hale leaning in to kiss each other and another showed the star standing in the middle of her event, waving at all of her loved ones.
It’s not quite clear if Cole had her event in Atlanta, where she once resided, or California, where she’s from. However, her baby shower was filmed for her new BET baby special, which apparently is slated to air sometime this year.
“THREE DAYS TO GO !!!🛑 #1 I’m so happy I got a chance to film this process ☝🏽 and #2 to have been able to bring it back home to BET!! Where it all started!!” the “Love” singer wrote. “Can’t wait to meeeeeeeet my little one, OUTSIDE THE WOMB.”
She also posted photos of herself, Hale and her mother Lons at an after event that seemingly took place at the star’s home. Cole apparently switched into more comfortable clothing, wearing a pink crop top and denim overalls.
“I soooo ready to meet my little munchkin #2 FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAME OUT YESTERDAY AND I WANT TO SAY …………. THANK U SOOOO FOR COMING AND TRAVELING,” she added in another post.
Fans instantly fawned over the star’s images and how radiant she looked.

Cole first announced she was pregnant for a second time in May. She confirmed she was having a son just weeks later.
Viewers will get a chance to follow the celeb’s pregnancy journey on her new untitled reality series coming soon to BET. Details, such as the premiere date of her new show, have yet to be released as she remains just days from delivering her baby boy.
She currently shares 10-year-old Daniel Gibson Jr. with her estranged husband and former Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson. Her unborn son will be Hale’s first child.
