Bow Wow caught plenty of flak when he called his ex-girlfriend Ciara out of her name recently and said he’d been with her first. He made the statement onstage at Atlanta’s Elleven45 Lounge when he was performing his song “Like You” that features the R&B singer.
“I had this b–tch first,” Bow said to the crowd. “You know that, right?”
Ciara’s fans ripped him afterwards, and T.I. expressed how he felt in the comments of an Instagram video.
“Damn Cuzz…just damn!!” wrote T.I.
But the Grand Hustle boss didn’t stop there. In a video that surfaced on Wednesday, T.I. chastised Bow Wow, and many think it had everything to do with Ciara. Nelly was there too, but he just asked the “Fresh Azimiz” rapper if he needed a hug.
“You can’t do that,” Tip told Bow Wow, who then tried to explain himself with hard-to-hear words.
“That is irrelevant,” Tip told him. “If I dropped your ass off and never came back, and this n—-a raised you from then to now … What you switch sides for?”
Bow Wow and Ciara dated from 2004 to 2006. The rapper has also been linked to Erica Mena, Angela Simmons and Kiyomi Leslie. He’s dated Joie Chavis as well, and the two have a daughter together.
In regards to Ciara, after she broke off her engagement with Future, she married NFL star Russell Wilson in 2016, and the ceremony took place inside an English castle.
A lot of people commented on the video with Bow, T.I. and Nelly when it made the rounds, and many loved how Tip lectured the 32-year-old.
Some might say it was similar to how the “Rubberband Man” slammed Kodak Black for saying he wanted to be with Lauren London, days after her boyfriend Nipsey Hussle was killed.
“I’m glad somebody checked him on that 😂,” someone wrote about Bow Wow on Instagram.
But others thought Tip could’ve been lecturing him on being disloyal to Jermaine Dupri, who mentored him.
“From what I’m getting from the parts I can make out. Are they getting on him about leaving Jermaine Dupri who brought him in the game then switching up and rolling with Snoop Dogg?”
Ciara hasn’t responded to any of this yet.
