Bow Wow is getting dragged for something he reportedly said about his ex-girlfriend Ciara. Bow and the R&B star used to be an item from 2004 to 2006 before they moved on to other high-profile relationships.
The rapper’s comment came during a recent appearance at the Elleven45 Lounge in Atlanta while he performed his 2005 cut “Like You,” featuring Ciara.
At one point, the rapper stopped in the middle of the song and delivered a sentence that many found disrespectful.
“I had this b–tch first,” he said. “You know that, right?”
People tore into the 32-year-old right after.
“When your brain and pants are still boys size 12!” someone commented on Instagram.
“Grow the f–k up & shut up,” another person told him.
“Bow Wow need to leave Ciara alone because nobody has time for his bulls–t, and he just jealous because she is married,” a third person stated.
Of course, that social media user was referring to Ciara’s marriage to Russell Wilson, whom she exchanged vows with on July 6, 2016, in a ceremony in Cheshire, England. The couple also has a daughter named Sienna Princess Wilson, who was born on April 28, 2017.
Before that Ciara dated Future, whom she has a son with. She was also with 50 Cent, as well as former NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire.
Bow Wow, meanwhile, used to date Angela Simmons, and he was also engaged to Erica Mena. Plus, he has a daughter with his ex Joie Chavis, who now also has a baby with Future.
Bow’s last major relationship was with Kiyomi Leslie, and the two were arrested on Feb. 2 after having a fight that left them both with injuries, his visible. Leslie claimed the rapper physically abused her, and Bow was seen with scratches on his face, as well as a bite mark on his torso.
Reportedly, the fight was because Leslie was paying too much attention to Shaquille O’Neal at a party, and Bow got jealous.
The former “106 & Park” host hasn’t responded to the backslash over his Ciara comment, but others wrote about it on a photo the singer posted of Wilson on Monday.
“Now I see why Bow Wow crying and talking smack,” someone wrote. “He cannot compete.”
