As Porsha Williams continues to get congratulatory messages on her pregnancy, she’s also received one from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” producer Andy Cohen. Some, however, think Cohen’s words were shady against Kenya Moore.
“Very excited for @Porsha4real! Next season is full of a lot of real, life-changing moments,” Cohen tweeted Wednesday, Sept. 19, after Williams’ big announcement.
Williams was rumored to be with child for months but finally confirmed the news earlier this week. Meanwhile, her former RHOA co-star, Moore, had announced she was pregnant with her first child during the season 10 reunion in April.
Cohen sent her a congratulatory message at the time, but it wasn’t accompanied by any info about Moore’s time on the upcoming season.
Plus, fans had replied to the tweet by telling Cohen Moore wasn’t actually pregnant, something she’s been fighting against throughout her pregnancy.
Perhaps those things added more reason for fans to feel as if Cohen was throwing shade at Moore, whose journey to motherhood won’t be documented on the upcoming season since she’s reportedly no longer on the show.
“He said ‘real life changing moments’ …whew chile the shade 😆 #ilovemesomeAndy 😎💁🏽♀️.”
“Shady boots Andy wit the tactful congrats to Porsha…….hope those ratings are up for the next season.”
“Andy is so shady with his words 🗣”
“What he saying is … we don’t need Kenya because we have Porsha lol.”
“But he is not happy for Kenya? He purposely got rid of Kenya. F— Andy c aka fake Cohen.”
“Andy is so fake🙄, why couldn’t you keep Kenya on?”
Even so, Moore has teased that fans will be able to see her explore becoming a mom. She went on Instagram Live a couple of weeks ago and said she was filming a new project.
“I’m up early because I’m going to actually film something today,” she shared Sept. 9. “It’s an exciting project. Obviously, I can’t tell you what it is, but it’s nice to be up working.”
She later posted a photo of herself in front of a camera with a crib in the background, leading many fans to think she’s working on a baby special.
