Tyrese and his ex-girlfriend, Zelie Timothy, have rekindled their romance. The singer and social media influencer began dating last March, but their relationship hit a few bumps along the way that lead to a very public breakup this summer.
The lovers issued scathing remarks about each other online, leaving many to think it was unlikely they would reconcile. But, just days after an Atlanta judge finalized Tyrese’s divorce from his wife of four years, Samantha Lee, he shared adoring posts of Zelie on social.
In one post, that was previously shared online, Zelie is seen wearing a nude-colored crochet bathing suit as she seductively poses in a cabana. Tyrese captioned the video, “It’s clear I couldn’t deny the love I feel for you if I tried…… Happy Labor Day my love…….A whole vibe you are… Endless love….. Endless love….”
His second post was another video, this time he and Zelie are seen embracing one another on a beach. The caption read, “Sweetest touch has always been yours. I can’t deny that. Thank you my love.” Proving that they are again a united front, Zelie also shared the posts with her followers.
Reactions to the couple seemingly reunited were mixed, with some being happy that love prevailed and others being uninterested in Tyrese and Zelie’s love saga.
“Tyrese stay off the internet next time u get upset please,” wrote one person. Another person’s comment made reference to the “Sweet Lady” singer’s tendency to utilize social media somewhat like an open diary. “Nothing bad breaking up and making up. But the bad thing is you bringing it to the social media. SMH,” read the comment. A third wrote, “Jodi you be all over the place.”
Others considered that the TGT group member’s finalized divorce may have been a contributing factor as to why reconciling became an option. “I feel like he was just tryin to finish court and the BM drama! So they just had to be super low!” Remarked one person. A second take on the dissolution of his marriage stated, “The divorce is FINAL …They back!!”
And lastly, there were countless comments from those who were simply happy to see both Tyrese and Zelie happy. “Yesssssss I’m so happy to see y’all back together!” and “Good for them, if it’s true love I can’t hate. Nobody is perfect,” read a sampling of the comments. Only time will tell if Tyrese’s desire to be married again will lead him and Zelie down the aisle.
