‘The Hip Throw’: Fans Gush After Tamera Mowry Shares a Back-to-School Video with Her Children Aden and Ariah Housley

Tamera Mowry took to Instagram on Aug. 22 to inform her millions of followers how happy she was that her children Aden, 9, and Ariah Housley, 7, have returned to school.

The actress revealed the news by sharing a video of Aden and Ariah preparing for their first day of second and fourth grades.

The video starts with the pair entering the camera frame in their pajamas alongside a voiceover track from the Nickelodeon hit series “SpongeBob SquarePants.” The show’s character Squidward is heard saying, “And why aren’t you in uniform?”

Following that question, Aden and Ariah quickly scurried into their rooms before returning on camera in their school outfits. Ariah was seen sporting a white shirt with a cat design, a blue plaid shirt, pink shoes and numerous accessories. At the same time, Aden rocked a Roblox sweatshirt, jeans and sneakers.

The clip ended with the pair smiling and Ariah striking a pose by placing one hand on her hip. In addition to the upload, Mowry wrote the caption, Everyone in the house is happy to be going back to school. Can’t believe Ariah is going into second grade & Aden is going into 4th! #backtoschool.”

Immediately after Mowry shared the recording, her husband, Adam Housley, took to the comments section to point out Aden’s facial expression and Ariah’s “hip throw.” He wrote, “It’s Aden’s face going back to his room and then Ariah’s hip throw. Oh brother.”
