It’s been weeks and fans are still not over Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey splitting up. The two ended their short-lived romance after only a year-and-a-half, though Jordan may have been leaning toward marriage. Many believe their breakup was caused by the 25-year-old model simply wanting to play the field.
“I’m in a really, a really good space,” she recently told E! News while chatting about life after the breakup. “Like really, happy. I’m excited for the summer. I feel like this is the first summer we kind of have no real restrictions like we’re off lockdown. So I feel good.”
The beauty CEO held back from directly addressing the breakup, noting that her time has been spent working on her recently launched skin-care line, SKN by LH.
“Business is going good. I have some fun new projects that are coming soon that I’ve been working on, so I’m extremely excited to share that with somebody,” she said. “Just excited to continue to grow, continue to evolve, continue to learn as I go.”
Harvey and Jordan began dating in 2020, and their relationship became Instagram official in January 2021. The former lovebirds announced their split earlier this month and have since deleted any mention or photo of each other on their separate Instagram accounts. But ladies couldn’t wait to shoot their shot at the “Black Panther” actor in the comments section of his other posts.
“Heard you was single?” wrote one fan in the comments of a Mother’s Day post featuring photos of his mom and sister. Another said, “Looking at my future family. I heard you, and Lori ended it. I’ll be your shoulder to cry on.”
A third woman asked, “How Lori fumble you??”
Meanwhile, Lori claims she was advised “to not get caught up in the comments section” by her parents, Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey. She then mentioned an inspiring phrase she wished she had told her younger self in regard to relationships. She said, “Remember you’re the prize, always.”
Following the breakup, fans expressed their excitement over Lori Harvey becoming a single woman just in time for the summer. One person tweeted, “Good to see Lori Harvey back outside.”
A second individual said, “City Girls is up again. Lori Harvey is back outside this summer.”
