Singer Ashanti shared pictures of herself with her mother, Tina Douglas, on Instagram after Mother’s Day, and her fans were struck by her mom’s beauty. The 41-year-old “Rock Wit U” singer shared the photographs on Instagram on May 10 with a sweet message to her mom.
Both ladies looked stunning in the picture and appear youthful while rocking black ensembles and plenty of diamonds.
“Words could never express the amount of love, respect, admiration, humility, strength, honor and loyalty that I have for you,” she wrote. “You continuously inspire me every day. Thank you for being my support system, my best friend, my protector and rock. When it’s my time if I have only an ounce of who you are as a mother I’d be forever grateful. Loving you infinitely. Happy Mother’s Day Ma!!!!!!!!!”
The beautiful post received a reply from Douglas, who was equally sweet in her response on Instagram and thanked her daughter for being the first ‘blessing from GOD’ and for giving her the honor of motherhood.

Ashanti also shared a throwback picture of herself with her mom and little sister, Kenashia Douglas, who is equally beautiful.
Fans replied in the comments section and several noted the ladies’ beauty. Several Instagram users also noted the singer and her mother looked more like sisters rather than mother and daughter.
