‘It’s the Matching Energy for Me’: Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s Dancing Video Leaves Fans In Awe

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade proved to be fans’ couple goals on Dec. 15 after the actress uploaded a video of the pair dancing and singing at a party.

In the Instagram post, the pair were seen jamming along to McFadden & Whitehead’s 1979 hit “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now.” Although Union didn’t disclose the exact location where she and Wade were, the 49-year-old did inform her fans that the couple’s current behavior at this particular event would be the same at every function.

She wrote, “At the end of every function, this is gonna happen.” As fans began to view the star’s upload, many praised the couple for sharing matching “energy” while enjoying the festivities. An individual went as far as to point out that Union and Wade’s chemistry in the recording showcased what finding your “person” is.

“I CAN’T!!!! I am SO LIVING for this ENERGY!!!!!!!!!!!”

“It’s the matching of the energy for me!”

“Y’all better be old and gray and singing like this, just like this FOREVER!!! DEFINITELY GOALS!!!”

“That moment you find that 1 person who does it all with you, that’s a blessing many of you still on the quest to get….stay blessed.”

“Such an awesome vibe and energy.”

In addition to the positive comments, others expressed their love for old-school music. One wrote, “Nothing better than Old School.” Another said, “If yo grandparents didn’t put u on to old school music you missin out!! This is the jam!! This is played at every family function!!”

Earlier this year, Wade disclosed how the pair made their marriage work in an interview with People magazine In a shared cover story with Union. He told the publication, “I’d like to say we’ve worked on it. It’s about learning each other, learning what she wants for her life and for her career, and trying to support all those things.”

Union added while listing how the couple addresses things differently than in their first marriages. “This is both of our second marriages, and we’re super transparent about that. We didn’t do it right the first time around. There’s another way — to be more collaborative and equitable. We humble ourselves, listen, and we meet in the middle.”

Wade and Union have been married since 2014.
