Rick Ross‘ horseback riding video on Monday, Nov. 1, stirred up an interesting reaction from fans when they zoomed in on another set of reactions: the horse’s.
In the clip, the rapper was seen riding a horse at an undisclosed location. Things began to take a turn after the horse became restless by turning its entire body around, excessively nodding its head and slightly pinning its ears back.
Although the horse’s full-body motion could have been from Ross trying to control its movements by adjusting the reins, the pinned ears and head shaking indicated another issue. A horse’s ears being pinned back can possibly signal anger. At the same time, head shaking can bring a range of emotions to the horse, including excitement and frustration.
In addition to the video, Ross also asked social media users for help in finding a horse trainer. He wrote, “Horsing around #MMG empire Horse trainers DM me.” As Ross’ video went viral, aside from the weight jokes, many mentioned that the horse’s supposed discomfort was probably coming from the reins being too tight.

“He needs to let up on those reins. That horse is not happy.”
“Nice looking horse. Ease up on the reins and get another saddle Boss.”
“Loosin up on the reins, u chokin him wit the mouth bit @richforever.”
“He pulling them reins too much. Hopefully he finds a good trainer, because horses are amazing.”
Among the “reins” comments, other people joked that the 45-year-old was riding the horse because he was waiting to get his license. One wrote, “He does not have a driver’s license, so the horse is his best bet.” Another said, “He waiting on his driver’s license to come in the mail.” Ross admitted in June that despite owning 100 vehicles, he had yet to obtain a license. He since has reported getting his license.
At the time of sharing he didn’t have a license though, he said in an Instagram clip, “Who own a hundred cars and don’t have a driver’s license. But more importantly, I’m filling out everything for my driver’s license, and they ask me, ‘Are you an organ donor?’ And you know what I said? ‘Damn. If something was to happen to me and they looked inside of me and saw how good my heart was. Don’t let me die just to take my good heart.’ ”
