Vivica A.Fox disclosed her current relationship status while promoting her new show, “Screening Room” on Saturday, July 3, during an interview with “Extra.” This revelation comes months after the actress had an online spat with 50 Cent’s girlfriend Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines over Fox’s “love of my life” quote, referring to 50 Cent.
Fox said in the initial interview, “I’m happily single to be very honest with you. I did have a COVID bae, but that didn’t work out. She added that despite her love affair with the unidentified man abruptly ending, she is still hopeful for love. “But I am still looking for love. I just happen to be in love with work.”
Fox’s previous relationships include those with her ex-husband, Christopher Harvest, to whom she was married from 1998 to 2002, and rapper 50 Cent. The pair dated briefly dated in 2003 before parting ways the following year.
Back in May, 50’s girlfriend, model Jamira Haines, recanted remarks she’d made regarding Fox, later apologizing, after the actress uploaded a video from her Vlad TV interview in which she was raving about the aspiring lawyer and 50’s relationship despite previously mentioning that her ex was the love of her life.
In the initial recording, Fox revealed the love-hate relationship she shared with 50 and expressed how relieved she was that their past feud following their breakup 17 years before was finally over. The actress also mentioned the public tiff they had over the rapper’s comments about the show “Empire,” which she joined in 2015.
She said, “I’m that one chick that everyone is like, ‘Well if there is one chick that can talk s–t to 50 Cent, it’s Vivica Fox.’ But can I tell you I’m glad that it’s so over. He now has a girlfriend that’s beautiful, and that’s hot, and I’m happy for him. I hope he puts a ring on her finger and they live happily ever after. I don’t wish him any ill will… “
Fox added, “It’s a love-hate situation but at the core of it all is love. I have respect for him, and deep down in his heart, he has respect for me too. ‘Cause he sees me doing my thing too but don’t come over here talking, trying to talk no s–t ’cause he already know what’s gon’ happen.”
Upon viewing the clip, Haines shared in the comments section that she took the blame for what took place. She wrote, “.. Humorous comment Bad timing that’s all..! Now with knowing all of the information, it’s no so funny! I take the blame for the all the commotion! I apologize ♥️ #MuchLovvee.”
The brief feud between Fox and Haines began after the model mocked Fox’s interview discussing her short high-profile relationship with 50 in 2003 by commenting “Aww” with a single violin and heart eyes.
