Shamea Morton‘s party celebrating Brandy and Monica‘s “Verzuz” battle ended up being a mini-“Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion when her girls Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss, and former cast mate Sheree Whitfield stopped by to hang on Monday night.
The ladies looked like they had a ball reminiscing and jamming during the record-breaking battle, which was viewed by over 1.2 million people. Morton went all out for her shindig, supplying Team Brandy and Team Monica signs, balloons, and booze.
“#Verzuz brought out the black girl magic!#BrandyVsMonica,” Kandi captioned her post of the ladies looking cozy and slighly lit.
Hostess and friend of the show Shamea Morton was thrilled that her last-minute gathering was a hit and enjoyed celebrating both talented singers with her girls. “🎤I sang soooo many @brandy and @monicadenise songs in talent shows growing up,” she wrote. “🎵 I’m a super fan of both of these beautiful ladies. ❤️I had to honor them and throw a @verzuztv party last night! And when I tell you I got my entire life 🗣 I GOT MY WHOLE LIFE! 💃🏾 This gathering was planned in 9 hrs.”
Seeing the ladies all together again gave fans a little nostalgia, and some even wondered whether Whitfield will return to “RHOA.”
“She by Sheree made it out?! Hey girl!” called out one fan.
“Porsha look lit😂😂😂,” laughed another.
“Queens ❤️❤️,” a third complimented.
“So this means your back on Housewives right cause I feel it in my spirit lol?” a hopeful fan asked Sheree.
“I hope the bravo cameras were rolling 🙌🏽,” commented a fifth.
“Y’all all look soo beautiful😍,” gushed a sixth.
Whitfield had a grand old time with her squad in what looks to be her first outing since COVID-19 restrictions began loosening.
Whitfield appears to be back in good health after recovering from a COVID-19 diagnosis in July. The entrepreneur took a month-long break from social media after revealing she tested positive for coronavirus but has been active again over the past couple of weeks, sharing that she’s “Feeling Great, #Healthy and #Happy!”
