It’s been over a year since Malaysia Pargo and her fellow “Basketball Wives” co-star Jackie Christie got into a physical altercation at a skating rink in Los Angeles, but some fans can’t seem to let bygones be bygones.
On Sunday, Aug. 23, Malaysia posted a photo on Instagram that showed her looking fabulous while hanging out at a skating rink. The gorgeous mama of three went for a laid-back look during her outing where she donned a black tank top with patterned Ethika biker shorts and white roller skates. Her faux locs were styled in a high ponytail and flowed to her shoulders. For her makeup, she rocked red lipstick with her signature fake eyelashes. She accessorized her outfit with a red crossbody bag and a gold watch. Malaysia wrote in her caption: “Quiet for now…you’ll see the 🔥🔥 later.”
Almost instantly, people gravitated toward the photo and brought up her infamous fight with Jackie. A fan commented underneath the post: “Remember last time you were skating on BBW some stuff went down 😩😩😩 you look gorgeous though,” followed by a second user who asked: “Looks good. Is Basketball Wives coming back?”
Folks who watch the hit reality show know that Jackie and Malaysia fell out with each other during season 8 after a man from Atlanta contacted Jackie on social media and allegedly suggested that Malaysia was broke and was not taking care of her children. Jackie, the wife to NBA legend Doug Christie, revealed the messages to a few of her castmates, including Evelyn Lozada, and the rumor eventually got back to Malaysia. Jackie and Malaysia attended their co-star Kristen Scott‘s ’90s-themed skating party, where Malaysia confronted Jackie about the allegations. The duo got into a physical altercation and Malaysia unfollowed Jackie from Instagram shortly thereafter.
Atlanta Black Star spoke exclusively to Jackie in May, where she revealed that the situation was “real” and encouraged fans to tune in to the upcoming season of “BBW” to see where she stands with Malaysia. The show’s ninth season is reportedly in production.
