‘Looking Like Your Mommie!’: Lil Scrappy and Bambi Fans Call Their 1-Year-Old Son His Mother’s Twin

Toddler Breland Richardson is the spitting image of his mother, “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Bambi.

The proud wife of rapper Lil Scrappy took to Instagram on Monday, June 15, to share a sweet shot she took of their 1-year-old son posing atop the hood of a Mercedes G-series SUV.

“@princebreland with that mug 😏,” Bambi captioned the photo.

Baby Breland didn’t look too enthused about his mother taking the picture. Nevertheless, he looked absolutely adorable in his black Vans, gold chain and mini man bun.

Social media users commented on the photo and teased Bambi about how similar the mother and son look to each other.

“He looks exactly like The Bam☺️☺️,” an Instagram user wrote. “Boss @princebreland 💪🏾 @adizthebam tell him i wan b Like him when i grow up‼️” Another person commented, “Awww looking like your mommie! 😍😍 Girl he is so funny he looks like he when he does that that’s so cute❤️.”

The “twin” comments continued to roll in, prompting one person to say, “He so cute looking like his mother twin!! 😍 so dang ole handsome,” and another to write, “Aww. Aww he got Bams wole face, but kinda look like Scrapp too.”

It has yet to be determined if Bambi and Lil Scrappy‘s unborn daughter will also look like her mother.

On March 1, the “No Problem” rapper announced he and his wife were expecting a second child. He wrote via Instagram, “Wifey be carrying my babies around drenched out,” he wrote. “Come on with the Baby drip den mama, too much drip for one bottle @adizthebam #mom #wife #hustla #CDAYVIBES #BABY3 #CINCO.”

The happily married couple welcomed baby Breland in September 2018. Scrappy also has 15-year-old daughter Emani Richardson with ex-fiancée Erica Dixon.

Scrappy and Bambi have yet to reveal their unborn child’s name, but fans assume it would begin with the letter B, the same as Breland and Bambi’s names.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
