Bambi and her husband announced a few weeks ago they were expecting their second child together, but they hadn’t revealed the baby’s gender. On Thursday, March 26, the mother-to-be inadvertently tricked her fans into thinking otherwise.
She took to Instagram and posted a photo of herself and a group of women painting a wall pink. Bambi also sported pink sneakers and a cropped jacket with a matching shade of pink.
Fans instantly assumed the “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star was having a baby girl.
“Awe… The baby is a girl???”
“Awesome girl at first I thought it was a gender reveal let us know you was having a girl 😂😂😘😘”
“The bam is having a girl. I would love to do this to my daughters wall! Super pretty!”
“Congratulations on the baby girl. This a great idea for your new born @adizthebam whatever color you choose of course.🔥”
“Omg I almost choked! lol I thought this was your gender reveal lol”
Bambi later clarified in her comments to fans that she didn’t know what the gender of her unborn child was, writing, “IDK yet.. this wall was pointed as a demonstration in a class.”
She also wrote in her caption, “This wall is sooooo 🔥🔥🔥 we’re doing a webinar April 11. We want everyone to be safe and have the opportunity to learn from home. THIS IS NOT A GLITTER WALL ✨✨✨😍”
Bambi and her husband Scrappy have a 1-year-old son Breland Richardson, whom they welcomed in September 2018. The rapper also has a 14-year-old daughter with “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Erica Dixon.
Scrappy announced the news of their unborn child on Instagram on March 1 and wrote, “Wifey be carrying my babies around drenched out,” he wrote. “Come on with the Baby drip den mama, too much drip for one bottle @adizthebam #mom #wife #hustla #CDAYVIBES #BABY3 #CINCO.”
