It looks like Rasheeda Frost is the latest “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star receiving backlash from her fans.
The “Boss Chick” and serial entrepreneur celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary with her husband Kirk Frost in December. Their anniversary played out on the show’s premiere episode on Monday, March 16 and, of course, viewers had a few negative things to say about the couple’s marriage online.
The mother of two and her husband have experienced a great deal of marital woes. Kirk cheated on the Pressed Boutique owner multiple times with different women on national television. To make matters worse, he fathered a love child nearly four years ago with 29-year-old Jasmine Washington, a former stripper.
Despite their marital issues, Rasheeda decided to stay with Kirk and work through their problems. Still, the mother of two receives criticism for her decision. In a recent interview with Essence magazine that was published on Monday, she blasted naysayers for criticizing her marriage and choice to stay with the D-Lo Entertainment manager.
“I’m going to be honest with you — a lot of times, people who speak on that could never wear my shoes,” she told Essence. “A lot of women haven’t even been in a relationship for five minutes, let alone 20 years. So you can’t speak on the decisions that I make. At the end of the day, it’s my life. And I never let anybody’s opinion sway me in a direction. All I did is pray and follow my heart. And if nobody likes it, don’t follow me and don’t leave any comments. Something you deal with might be something I wouldn’t deal with, but it’s not for me to tell you what to do.”
The 37-year-old television personality claimed her husband has made a “360” as a person and that’s what allowed her to forgive him. She also said the need for strong communication between the two of them was the biggest lesson she learned.
“The road can get really, really rough. You have to communicate and figure out a way to make sure you’re taking care of each other,” Rasheeda added. “Kirk and I have been friends and we’ve been through our ups and our downs. The good times are really good and the bad times are bad — but they’re experiences. We understand each other a lot more, and we’re just making sure we make time for each other when it seems like things are getting kind of crazy.”
Although the happily married couple is confident in their relationship, fans still continue to have mixed reactions.

Rasheeda and Kirk tied the knot in 1999. The pair share two sons together.
