Ryan Henry made it clear that he’s no longer dealing with foolishness.
The “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star was forced to boss up and remain stern with his former employee Bella, who asked for her old job back.
For those who don’t remember, Bella worked at 9MAG during season 5 and was known for always getting into drama. She participated in multiple fights and was one of the employees who disobeyed Henry when he tried to implement a no drinking or partying policy in the shop.
After deciding to shut down his old 9MAG location and open a new one, Henry fired Bella due to her constant unprofessional behavior.
On the latest episode of “Black Ink,” Bella stopped by Henry’s new shop to inquire about her former receptionist position. She told the shop owner that she’d been having a rough time finding a job and financially taking care of her 2-year-old daughter.
Henry apologized for firing Bella abruptly last season but felt he had no choice as a business owner.
“I apologize for how you felt you were fired,” the 9MAG owner told the mother of one. “That ain’t how I wanted it to go. I brought you here because I wanted you to grow, I wanted you to be able to take care of your daughter. I cared for her the same way I cared for you, but you just happen to be on the wrong side of the team.”
Henry tried to empathize with Bella’s emotions because she’s a single mom, but said he couldn’t hire her back due to her past indiscretions.
“I’m sorry for the s–t you going through, but I don’t have a chance for you, I don’t have a slot for you. … I ain’t got no maybes.”
Several fans commended Henry for being stern with Bella, while others felt he was a little too hard on her.
