It seems Ray J Norwood and Princess Love‘s newborn child is already taking after his father in the looks department.
The “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” couple welcomed their baby boy Epik Ray Norwood into the world on the next-to-last day of 2019, and folks are already debating about who the baby looks like.
On Tuesday night, the 38-year-old father of two took to Instagram and debuted photos of his newborn inside the hospital. Posting a photo of himself staring down at baby Epik, one accompanied by a lengthy caption, Ray J wrote, “God is truly amazing!”
The “One Wish” singer continued, shouting out his wife Love, ” @Princesslove you are really a blessing! To watch what you went thru to have our children is something words can’t express. I’m so proud of you. Thank you for everything! 2020 is already the best year of my life! – Here he is EPIK RAY NORWOOD.”
Fans immediately flooded Norwood and his Love with congratulations, while also mentioning how much the newborn looked like his father.
“Damn he must’ve got on her nerves 😩😂 he looks just like Ray J! Congratulations Norwood’s, he is beautiful.. Family first, everything else comes after ❤️”
“Congratulations so cute and adorable that baby look just like ray good job princess very beautiful he is so handsome and cute 😍”
“Damn. Spitting image of his dad he kinda looks like Brandy too. He has them Norwood eyes”
“Ooooh she spit out another version of Ray J 😩 he is soooo cute god bless him ! And I love his name!”
Norwood announced the birth of his and Love’s son in a YouTube video posted on Dec. 30 that showed his wife in labor.
In the clip he apologized to Love and their 19-month-old daughter for their recent family drama and said , “I love you princess love! And my babygirl melody! I don’t ever wanna lose our time together. I’m sorry for everything. 2020 will be somthing very special.”
In November, Princess claimed her husband left her and baby Melody stranded in Las Vegas after the 2019 Soul Train Awards to go party at a strip club. Her claims led to a huge social media brouhaha, and she even threatened to divorce him.
Ray J later said the dust-up was all his fault. He visited “The Wendy Williams Show” in December and, while looking at the camera, he said, “Baby, I was wrong, you are right.”
Ray J had their baby shower shortly afterward at their Los Angeles home.
